Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

We were sad that Micah had to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas day, so we decided to go to a movie! We met some friends at the theatre to see "Despicable Me". It was okay.
Here I am with my friend Tonya!
Later that night Micah had to work late so we went for a drive to look at the lights. When we returned P.J. the elf had dropped off our pajamas.
He must have also told Santa that Micah had to work on Christmas, so they were nice enough to bring our Christmas early. We opened all of our presents on Christmas Eve.

Christmas day we went to see Grandma and Grandpa Cottle. We ALL (except Lacey) got a bare back horse ride! Yeehaw!
Kody and Grandpa were twinners in their overalls!

Sunday we went to Grandpa and Grandma's ward.

Christmas Sunday and a trip to SLC

These are the Christmas outfits! I should have taken the picture before church, but they are still cute!!
They are growing up so fast!!
Then on Tuesday, Micah had the day off so we decided to take the kids down to temple square! It was beautiful and the kids had a lot of fun. We rode the trax, saw the mini model of the temple, looked at the fountains, watched a few presentations at the visitor center, saw the nativity that was set up, went in the old tabernacle, gazed at the christus, and waited until they turned on all the lights. We just went down and back in a day, but it was amazing and memorable. I hope the kids will remember forever.

Throwing penies in the fountain!
I LOVE this picture!
The lights on that one tree probably have 5X the lights as our house. I bet hanging all those lights took so much time!!

The annual Cottle Family Christmas Party!!

We had a ton of fun with all of our family here for our Christmas Party!
We had yummy food, a bunco game, a movie projected on the wall, NERDS,
a gift exchange, ...AND
Santa came! It was a huge hit!!
Lacey's eyes look evil, but really she is such a sweetie!
Here are my youngest two sisters and their husbands!
Thanks for coming up everyone. We had a fabulous time and hope you did too!

Putting up the tree and Christmas Programs!

Here is Tyann putting on the star with some assistance...
And just to prove I was there and helped, here is a picture of us putting the tree together!
Here is Tyann on the front row! I'm biased, but isn't she the cutest??
Here is Kody singing his little heart out!
And here is Josie! She was upset she was on the front row too, but I just told her that they had to put the cutest ones in front. That helped a little, I think!
Here we are at the skating rink for Josie's clogging Christmas party. Lacey doesn't look to happy, but this was her first time in skates. She really liked it at the begining!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

It was our year at the Cottles for Thanksgiving! Here is our yummy meal...but the best part was sharing what we were thankful for. :)
Here is the other side of the table!
The babies
The little kids
The big kids
We were so blessed to have my Grandpa Anderson will us for Thanksgiving. He was so cute with all of the kids. Lacey took a special liking to him, especially when he danced with her!
We also took the opportunity to take lots of pictures! (Don't you love my sister in the mirror trying to get all the kids to look one way. **There are better pictures on my sister's blogs, but I atleast wanted to document the occasion here.)
Here are my parents and Grandpa.
We also got to play tennis, basketball, and have races out at Harris Research where my brother and sister work. It was a lot of fun!
Here is another sweet moment I caught of Ty and Lacey with Great Grandpa!
After we got home, I got to go on a girls night out and we had so much fun. We went to Idaho Falls to see the "Forgotton Carols!"
We had our Ward Christmas party a little earlier this year. Here are the kids with their books that they got from Santa! It was a huge hit!!
Micah's work rents out the theatre one day in December, so we took the kids to a movie. We choose "Tangled". It was such a cute show. We all loved it!

Happy Holidays!

Late October & November

Micah had to work on Halloween so the kids and I got the house cleaned and then went to the cheap theatre to watch "Toy Story 3". It was fun and they loved it!

Here they are all dressed up and ready to go trick-or-treating. Josie = Gabriella, Kody =a vampire, Tyann = a cat, and Lacey also =a cat.

Here is a another picture!!
We also got a pretty good snow storm and they all wanted to go out and play in it! Even dad got in on the fun!!
Kody loved having Max pull him around on the sled!
This is the awesome snowman that they built! They named him "Bob!"
One of the highlights of November for us was when our friends the Bartels came back for a visit!
We LOVE to play cards together!! It was such a great time!
Come back soon Bartels.....we miss you!!!
