The annual Cottle Family Christmas Party!!

We had a ton of fun with all of our family here for our Christmas Party!
We had yummy food, a bunco game, a movie projected on the wall, NERDS,
a gift exchange, ...AND
Santa came! It was a huge hit!!
Lacey's eyes look evil, but really she is such a sweetie!
Here are my youngest two sisters and their husbands!
Thanks for coming up everyone. We had a fabulous time and hope you did too!

Putting up the tree and Christmas Programs!

Here is Tyann putting on the star with some assistance...
And just to prove I was there and helped, here is a picture of us putting the tree together!
Here is Tyann on the front row! I'm biased, but isn't she the cutest??
Here is Kody singing his little heart out!
And here is Josie! She was upset she was on the front row too, but I just told her that they had to put the cutest ones in front. That helped a little, I think!
Here we are at the skating rink for Josie's clogging Christmas party. Lacey doesn't look to happy, but this was her first time in skates. She really liked it at the begining!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

It was our year at the Cottles for Thanksgiving! Here is our yummy meal...but the best part was sharing what we were thankful for. :)
Here is the other side of the table!
The babies
The little kids
The big kids
We were so blessed to have my Grandpa Anderson will us for Thanksgiving. He was so cute with all of the kids. Lacey took a special liking to him, especially when he danced with her!
We also took the opportunity to take lots of pictures! (Don't you love my sister in the mirror trying to get all the kids to look one way. **There are better pictures on my sister's blogs, but I atleast wanted to document the occasion here.)
Here are my parents and Grandpa.
We also got to play tennis, basketball, and have races out at Harris Research where my brother and sister work. It was a lot of fun!
Here is another sweet moment I caught of Ty and Lacey with Great Grandpa!
After we got home, I got to go on a girls night out and we had so much fun. We went to Idaho Falls to see the "Forgotton Carols!"
We had our Ward Christmas party a little earlier this year. Here are the kids with their books that they got from Santa! It was a huge hit!!
Micah's work rents out the theatre one day in December, so we took the kids to a movie. We choose "Tangled". It was such a cute show. We all loved it!

Happy Holidays!

Late October & November

Micah had to work on Halloween so the kids and I got the house cleaned and then went to the cheap theatre to watch "Toy Story 3". It was fun and they loved it!

Here they are all dressed up and ready to go trick-or-treating. Josie = Gabriella, Kody =a vampire, Tyann = a cat, and Lacey also =a cat.

Here is a another picture!!
We also got a pretty good snow storm and they all wanted to go out and play in it! Even dad got in on the fun!!
Kody loved having Max pull him around on the sled!
This is the awesome snowman that they built! They named him "Bob!"
One of the highlights of November for us was when our friends the Bartels came back for a visit!
We LOVE to play cards together!! It was such a great time!
Come back soon Bartels.....we miss you!!!

Time for an update!

I have a cute video of my two little girls that I can't seem to get uploaded. It's so frustrating. Anyway, I did want to put a few pictures on here. On October 7th, we went down to my Uncle Doug's orthodonitic office for Josie to get braces on. Here is her before picture!

Here is my awesome uncle working his magic!

And this is what she came out with! Poor girl. She has braces on the top, plus a headgear she has to wear at night, and an appliance in the bottom!

Hopefully all this work now, will help her be even more beautiful in the future!
Here is Josie on her "daddy-daughter" date. I think they both had a fun time. She even got him to dance.....she told me I should be jealous! After their date, they went and got a Redbox movie and invited Kody and I to join them! SO FUN!
Last week was red ribbon week. The kids love it. I think pajama day was their very favorite day!!
Overall, we are all doing good. I'll try to get on here and update a little more often! Hope you are all well and happy too!

Back to School!

Here is Tyann on her first day of Kindergarten. I didn't have real tears, but my heart does feel sad. It just feels like once they get in school, they grow up even faster. Ty has been my little helper. Who is going to unload the dishwasher, help entertain Lacey, or want to go to Costco with me? I LOVE her so much.
I always tell her how cute she is and this morning she said, "I bet my teacher will think I am the cutest girl in the class!" Probably so Ty. You are beautiful!
This is how I pictures Tyann still. Isn't she precious?

Here is Kody on his first day. What a handsome little guy!
(Who is going to take care of the dog while he is at school?)
Here is sweet Josie. She is growing up so quickly. This is her last year in elementary school and I think I might have a heart attack next year when she goes to middle school!
(I miss her when she is gone too...she is my right had gal!)
What cuties!!!

Finally.....an update!

Kody played baseball and loved it! He is our little athlete! He is now playing soccer, which he says is his favorite. Kody and Micah got to go with my brother-in-law Aaron, hiking for 3 days. Kody was in heaven being with his dad that much!

Here we are having a silly string fight!
I didn't realize this blog was so much about Kody, but this was also a very important event. Kody got baptized and we had a lot of family come! It was a great day! We got to go clear up to northern Idaho to see our good friends, the Bartels! We have missed them and it was so fun to be with them again. While we were there we went to Silverwood, a theme park. Here is a video of Lacey's first roller coaster ride! She is a doll!

We also had tons of fun at home. Here we are having an inside marshmellow roast! We had the BEST SUMMER!!!
