Time is flying by!

Another month has flown by.  Here is what we were up to.
I got to go with my mom and sisters to BYU Womens' week!
It was amazing!  We had so much fun together.
I enjoyed a VERY nice Mothers Day.  I even got a pot of flowers and the Josh Wright CD
my sister wrote about here. The other highlight was when my husband fixed a dutch over meal
consisting of Ribs, Potatoes, and Peach Cobbler!  YUM!!!
I LOVED this custom hairpiece that I made for someone.
Isn't it fun?

We went to ALL of Kody's soccer games.  He did awesome!
I just need to work on not yelling so much.  I thought I was helping, but apparently
I'm embarrassing.  :(  Nice to know.
We also went to all of Josie's recitals and competitions.
She is doing amazing as well!
That's all for know, but keep checking back.
I still have to post on a SUPER fantastic date that
Micah and I went on!  :)

The last month in review!

Kody had his first Pinewood Derby on March 19th!
(Which also our 12th anniversary!  Wahoo!!)
During spring break, we all went rollerskating!
I started a blog with my sisters!  It's awesome.
Have you checked it out?
Click here to see it.  Seriously, you'll LOVE it!
It really lives up to its name, "bits of everything"! :)
I spent 3 days at the Holt Arena for the "Spring Fair" with my sister and a good friend!
We sold our Girly Accent stuff there and did really good!
It was very tiring, but overall a really great experience!
My friend Lisa and I drove to Burley to see our friend,
Lyndsey, who just had a baby.
This is the three of us and our "babies"!
Too bad mine is getting so big! :)
Josie is also growing up too fast!
She had her graduation from the D.A.R.E. program!
We even got a little education on drugs and gang symbols.
It was very interesting!
Our friends, the Bartels, got to come visit.
It was too short, but we LOVED it!
Our van hit 180,000 miles. :(
So we bought something a little newer!
A 2004 Chevy Trailblazer.  We LOVE it! :)
I was a "hostess" for Jr. Miss Scholarship program.
Micah helped me get a little "spring cleaning" done!
He is seriously the best husband ever.
We washed windows (inside and out), cleaned blinds,
shortened the blinds (a project we've been meaning
to do for 3 years), and washed all the curtains
and hung them back up!
It feels so good to have that done!
And today we started our Easter celebration.
It was so nice to have my sister, Cali,
and her family come and join us.  We had such a good time.
We dyed eggs, had a egg hunt, played outside,
and grilled hot dogs for dinner!
What a cute group!!
Whew!  That was a busy month!

My own little makeover!

A "before" picture has to be taken without make-up, right???  YIKES!
I had been growing my hair out for a while, but I didn't LOVE it.
So, one morning I woke up and decided that I had had enough!
It needed to go!
(I don't really recommend this.  It's way harder that you expect!)
I was trying to tip cut the top when I got this little beauty!
Luckily, Tyann was available to take my picture.
This is how I do it!
And this is how it turned out!  It feel so good.
I am a short hair girl!!!!
(Plus the make-up helps too! :)
The side view!
What the back looks like!
It's hard to take pictures of yourself in the mirror!  :)
So there it is....what do you think?
(Actually, please don't tell me if you liked it better long.
I'll probably never go there again!
I just FEEL so much better with it short and off my neck!)
This is the damage on the floor!  It was A LOT!
Well, a lot for me, anyway....  lol

KODY

Well, for a few months now, Kody has been complaining that he
can't see very well.  I kind of put it off, but when he started
complaining of headaches, we decided it was time to take him in.
Here he is getting all the tests done.

Goofy kid!
And the result is:
He definitely needs glasses.
He was -1.00 in the left eye
and -1.5 with stigmatism in the right eye.
We tried a lot of different frames, but these are the ones we chose!
What a handsome little guy!
Although I think they make him look older now! ;(
Tonight was also our Blue and Gold Banquet for scouting.
Kody was very excited about getting his awards
and doing the skits!
Here he is putting on MY pin!  I got the bobcat AND wolf!
Here he is with his friend, Logan, dressed as mosquitos,
doing a skit!
It was a great night!  Thanks to all those who work so hard in scouting!

Sisters Blog

My sisters and I always joke about starting some sort of business.
We are all good at different things, and together--
we'd have it all covered!
Atleast one of us does cooking, hair, sewing, photography,
crafting, cards, exercising, scrapbooking, organization,
decorating, singing, ect., and we're ALL moms!
Needless to say, we have lots to learn from each other, and lots to share too!
So we've decided to start a blog!
It's called Bits of Everything ...and it's just that-
a little bit of everything. It's a place for us to share ideas,
things we've tried and want to try, tips and tricks, recipes, links, and lots more!
We'll be posting everyday of the week - so go check it out!!

Already-I've posted some fun Valentine ideas,
Cali has posted about a super cool photography find,
and today Holly posted her first tutorial!
Go see!

Lacey's birthday!

My baby, Lacey, had her 3rd birthday last week! She is such a sweetie! I love having her around all day.
She is silly and always has the funniest things to say! I think it is because she is like a parrot and repeats almost everything we say!
She is easily entertained and so quiet that sometimes I have to call to her to see where she is!
I asked Lacey which kind of cake she wanted (because I was going to buy one to make) and she said "Chocolate!" Micah was with us and he said, "Don't buy it...I'll make her one!" He did too--and it was delicious! Thanks honey!
Here she is opening a few gifts! I love age 3! She was so thrilled with everything she got!
All the kids are growing up so fast! I'm trying to savor every moment!

Happy Birthday Lacey!! We LOVE you!
