Introducing...
My sister Holly and I have finally put our ideas to work. We've been thinking and talking about doing an online store for a long time now and here it is! We have a lot of items posted already, but will add more as we go. So you'll have to keep checking back. To celebrate our new store, we are doing a GIVE-AWAY!! We are giving away 3 different items that you will find in our store. 1 - an adult-sized reversible headband, 2 - a small, but so cute bag, and 3 - a set of pink flower bows. (see pictures below) It's so easy to enter! All you have to do is go to our online store, http://www.girlyaccents.com/, and see all of our fun stuff. Leave me a comment telling me your favorite item and you are done. We will pick ONE random winner from all of the comments left on my blog and Holly's blog. That person will win all 3 items next Saturday, October 25th, at 10:00 pm. Have fun browsing our store and remember that Christmas is right around the corner!Sunday, October 12, 2008
The big update!
Sorry that I have been MIA lately! I have been CRAZY busy. I have been working on a BIG HUGE AMAZING project and will announce what that is soon, but for now, I will highlight what we have been up to.

The other day I went in to see why Lacey was not asleep and this is what I found. I couldn't believe that she was standing up!!! Then I grabbed the camera and she kept doing it over and over. What a cutie!
My neighbor and I took our little kids to the zoo. It was fun and...well, let's just say "educational"!! Thanks for going with us!!!
My sister came up to get her hair done and have some fun. She is so awesome and her baby is BEAUTIFUL!!!

My neice Kaylee got baptized on Saturday. What a great day. Both of her sides of family were there and it was great!
But the funniest picture was the one where everyone was trying to get the kids to all look in the right direction.
I have also been reading all of your blogs. If I have a few minutes, I sit down to post, but instead try to catch up on all of your lives! Thanks for keeping in touch!

Seven Months!
Our baby is changing so much. She is really getting big. She weighs 14lb and 6 oz. She can now sit on her own

She LOVES a warm bath

She plays with toys

She moves a lot when she sleeps. The last few times I have gotten her out of bed in the morning, she has been in this position.

She can get where she wants to go
AND she has the cutest giggle!!
We LOVE you Lacey!

A fun FHE activity!
Our neighbors invited us over FHE last night. It was a lot of fun. They had a foam machine and a huge piece of plastic that we used for a big slip and slide! The kids loved it and they loved that we participated too. Josie kept saying, "Mom, even the adults are having fun!" Here are a couple pictures.

Back to the Grind!
Josie was REALLY exicted for 3rd grade. She couldn't get enough of picking her outfit, going through her "school supplies", packing and repacking her backpack till it was just right, and picking out food for her lunches. Kody on the other hand, needed a little persuasion. It took me several days of encouragement, but this morning he was excited and happy to go.
Last week when I was talking to Kody I said, " Can you believe you will be going to school all day?" He looked shocked and said, "What??? But mom, I'll miss my shows!" He was used to coming home from kindergarten and having sole control of the remote I guess! It was funny!
