For Josie's birthday, she wanted her room painted. The boys left for a fathers and sons activites and we went to town. What do you think?

School Awards

Josie got a perfect attendance award for the WHOLE year! There were only about 10 kids in the whole school who got the award, but they did a drawing and Josie won and $10 gift certificate to fred meyer, a free ice cream from McDonalds, and a free kids meal at Texas Roadhouse!
Kody got the outstanding reader award in his class. He is an EXCELLENT reader for his age!

Memorial Day at Grandpas!

As you can see, my grandpa is a WWII vet. He is an amazing guy! He does a ceremony at the cemetary every memorial day and we finally got to go. We had tons of fun with family and cousins!

Spirit Week at school

It seems like I haven't posted it forever, so no one probably reads this anymore. However, there have been some fun things I want to document here.

These are a few picture of the kids for spirit week. Crazy hair day, (isn't that the best on Josie...a highlighting cap!!!) hippy day, and 80"s day .( I shouldn't be so proud of how good I did Josie's hair that day. It just came right back to me!)

Okay, I know I am a nerd, but I was REALLY excited about my shopping today. I haven't been shopping for long time so we are out of pretty much everything, especially cereal. Do anyone else's kids inhale cereal? Mine would, if I let them.

So this is my Albertsons trip? Any guesses on how much I spent on 21 boxes of cereal, 4 frosting, 2 cookie mixes, 6 packages of boneless skinless chicken thighs, 3 cream cheese, and 2 boxes of poptarts???
Only $49.22. I love watching the total go down after all the coupons. YEAH!

Then my little girls and I headed to Smiths. We got 10 bottles of Suave (I know I know, those of you who really know me know that this is like a SIN, but come on 33 cents per bottle for the kids...they'll never know it isn't professional!) 4 healthy choice meals, 3 boxes of Electrasol tabs, 2 packages of hotdogs and a 10 lb bag of potatoes......come on guess how much......

Just over 15 bucks! Wahoo....too bad I still have to go to Walmart to get the "rest" of the needed groceries. Wish me luck!

Kodys' tooth!

Well, it finally happened. I couldn't believe it took so long, but he finally lost his first tooth. What a cute little boy!!
