SPRING BREAK!

Micah had Friday off last week during the kids' spring break so we decided to go somewhere fun. We wanted to go to Boise since we had never been there and we were lucky enough to meet our friends there and they showed us around.

We first stopped in Twin Falls to see the bridge, temple, and have a picnic, but it was too cold and Lacey was a sleep, so we just decided to eat in the car and keep going!

When we got there, we met up with our friends and decided to go eat at the Red Robin.
It was super fun. The kids loved it. Then we did some shopping at JoAnn's and Cabelas. Next we did the thing that was at the top of Kody's list.....swim at the hotel swimming pool. I didn't take any pictures, but we had a blast! We stayed until they closed the pool at 10:00 p.m.!!

The next morning we started off by hitting the Boise Zoo! It was A LOT of fun.
Then we ate lunch at Taco Bell and went to the Discovery Center. It was fun to see how everything worked although Micah got into that a little more than I did. He had fun explaining how things worked to the kids.

The little girls really enjoyed their grocery store though. They had a list that you shopped for and little cash registers to check out with. It was great!

Then we ate at an all you can eat pizza and pasta place for dinner, went to krispie kreme, hit the mall, stopped at the temple.....

and left for home. It was an awesome trip. A BIG thank you to our friends for showing us around and hanging out with us ALL day. They are WONDERFUL!
