Seven Months!

Our baby is changing so much. She is really getting big. She weighs 14lb and 6 oz. She can now sit on her own

She LOVES a warm bath

She plays with toys

She moves a lot when she sleeps. The last few times I have gotten her out of bed in the morning, she has been in this position.

She can get where she wants to go

AND she has the cutest giggle!!

We LOVE you Lacey!

A fun FHE activity!

Our neighbors invited us over FHE last night. It was a lot of fun. They had a foam machine and a huge piece of plastic that we used for a big slip and slide! The kids loved it and they loved that we participated too. Josie kept saying, "Mom, even the adults are having fun!" Here are a couple pictures.

Then we finished the night with banana splits and great company! Thanks neighbors!

Back to the Grind!

Josie was REALLY exicted for 3rd grade. She couldn't get enough of picking her outfit, going through her "school supplies", packing and repacking her backpack till it was just right, and picking out food for her lunches. Kody on the other hand, needed a little persuasion. It took me several days of encouragement, but this morning he was excited and happy to go.
Last week when I was talking to Kody I said, " Can you believe you will be going to school all day?" He looked shocked and said, "What??? But mom, I'll miss my shows!" He was used to coming home from kindergarten and having sole control of the remote I guess! It was funny!

Summer Sum up!

As you may have noticed, it has been a while since I posted. We have just been going, going, and going! There is too much to catch up on, so I won't list all of the details, but we did just get back from our family reunion last weekend.

It was beautiful there and the kids LOVED playing on the beach! One of my brother-in-laws (who shall remane nameless!) lost his keys while we were swimming, snorkling, and playing and can you believe my other brother-in-law found them in waist deep water with his toe??? It was a miracle.

Another highlight for us was a visit from my sister. She brought her kids up and they played their little hearts out while she and I completed several projects! Thanks Hol!

I have also enjoyed watching the olympics and reading "Breaking Dawn" when I get a few minutes. It's been a good summer, now it is back to a routine and schedule!
