Christmas Day 2008

We had a great Chrismtas morning. Tyann loved her Princess books, videos, and Cd set.
Lacey loved the crinkling wrapping paper but neede a little help opening all of her cute new outfits.
Josie and Kody got new MP3 players and they think they are awesome!
The kids each gave each other movies for Christmas this year and they loved it.
Micah got a new leatherman for Christmas so he got it out to help the kids put all of their new things together.
I got a new nice black coat for Christmas; however, being the picture taker in our house, this is the ONLY picture of me on that day.

We are healthy, happy, and glad to have a job. It was nice to take a little time to remember the true meaning of Christmas and the reason that we celebrate it this year.

Christmas Eve 2008

We had a really nice Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We stayed here this year and it was sooo much more relaxing. Micah only got those two days off and it was nice to not have to spend most of it on the road. We missed our family A TON, but with the help of really great neighbors, we had a great time!

We went to our friends/neighbors house for dinner and games Christmas Eve. They were nice enough to involve us with their family activities. We had so much fun. When we got home to set out the treats for Santa and Rudolf we noticed these awesome gifts left by P.J. the elf. He comes every Christmas Eve and the kids loved their jammies! Josie's were HSM, Kody's were sports, Tyann's were Tinkerbell, and Lacey's were really cute feetie pajamas!

Lacey was already in bed, but her gift was not left out of the picture!

It's SNOW much fun!

It has snowed so much here lately. The kids have had so much fun playing in it. It wasn't that great when we got stuck on the way to church though!
Here is Kody jumping into it from our porch.

Josie and Kody were really having a blast making a hill to slid down while dad was shoveling!

The Best Christmas Party Ever!!!

We hosted the Cottle Family Christmas party last weekend. We had so much fun. Thank you to all my family who came, had fun, and helped with the food.
The kids loved having sleep overs with their cousins!

We also had a blast playing catch phrase and Bunco!!!

We also had a visit from Santa, read Christmas stories, had a gift exchange, and projected the movie "The Polar Express" up on our wall. We ate tons of good food and visited until wee hours of the morning. THANK YOU to my family for helping me enjoy this Christmas season.

My mom got the kids' church clothes for Chrismtas so I let them open them and wear them yesterday. They looked SOOO cute. Three matching girls dresses and one handsome little guy! How lucky are we???

Christmas program

I went to the kids' Christmas program last week. I felt tired and exhausted just trying to get there with the video camera(with a dead battery so I carried it for nothing), camera (with just a little battery left), diaper bag (just in case), baby in car seat and a tired 3 year old.

Josie did really good. She was on the front row and sang her little heart out!

Kody also did really good. Too bad someone thought it would be a good idea to put the shortest boy in the whole class on the top row! What????? This is all I could see of him the whole time. He is the one on the back with most of his face covered.

Time for a new post!

Things have been busy around here. I have a list of a million things to do before I can really sit back and enjoy the holidays. Hopefully, I get a chance to enjoy some of it before it is over.

While we were all home for Thanksgiving, we got a few new family pictures!

It was alot of work getting all 21 of us looking in the right direction, but I think they turned out pretty good.
